Senior Olympics? Dancing? Day trip to IKEA? Painting? Dinner out on the town? Playing bingo? YUP! The Elders we serve chose the ways they want to express themselves!
Your donations can help us support them in the ways THEY prefer!
Brown Memorial Home has remained steadfastly nonprofit, ensuring our balance sheet doesn't influence our ideals in offering supportive, nurturing care. We've spent decades evolving our practices and programs so they're as vigorous as our elders!
There are times an elder might benefit from a specific type of tool that isn't covered under insurance. We do our best to find the tools that will be of most benefit to the greatest number of our elders. Your donation can help us acquire the very best tools - at the best price, of course!
Elder-centered, home-centric care takes time - we want to focus on our elders as people, not patients. We ask, and listen deeply, for the elder to express their needs in their own way. We then tailor a care plan to support them in mind, body, spirit and community. Your donation can allow our staff a little more time to be present and listening - and that is truly priceless!
As people age, you may hear "they're advancing in years"... at Brown we think the care we offer should always be advancing, too! As we grow in years, so should our options and opportunities. Your donations ensure that Brown Memorial Home is able to continue pushing the edge, advancing in the eldercare we offer, so that we're always ready to adapt and innovate.
Please consider making a donation in honor or memory of an elder dear to you. Its through donations, from people just like you, that Brown continues to operate at the highest standard of care. Feel free to contact us to discuss making a legacy gift through our Foundation Fund - ensuring the elders of Pickaway county always have an option in their choice of care provider.
